"Shortly before WWII, rose gold became very fashionable, just as it is today. (...) Several watch manufacturers introduced rose gold models and Hamilton was no exception. There are solid rose gold as well as gold filled wrist watch and pocket watch models starting in 1940 and continuing into 1941. There are ladies examples too. The war cut the trend short though, and rose gold (or coral gold, in Hamilton parlance) was not reintroduced after the war."
Only produced for one year! But what makes this timepiece unique and special is the fact that it is one of the handful of Hamilton's rose gold filled wrist watch model. The Hamilton Coral Martin, only 6,111 pieces made in 1941.

It is a vintage Hamilton Coral Martin wristwatch, the movement serial number indicates that this watch is dated from 1941; the only year that this model (in rose gold filled) was produced.
It is a manual wind watch with a Hamilton movement, 6/0 sized, 17 jewels, caliber grade 987, sub second, U.S.A. made.
After 75 years, it still has a immaculate rose gold square/tonneau case and fancy lugs design, all in 10K rose gold filled.
As a perfect match, this watch is coming with a rose gold textured flex bracelet. Also, it is coming in a Hamilton display box.
As expected, the gorgeous and unique characteristic of this watch model, the salmon-colored (rose-colored) sterling silver dial with applied rhodium plated 18K white gold Arabic Numerals and matching hands. Also, bold minute marks on the dial. The sub second is located at 6 and the dial is signed with the Hamilton name on top.
It still has the original glass crystal, it has some scratches on.
This watch is still in LOVELY condition! It is an immaculate timepiece. It runs very well, keeps great time!

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
